Industry standard technology platform…

From a customer perspective, the eSENSE Retail solution has been designed as a 100% web-based solution with a zero technology footprint.  Following this “Software as a Service” (SaaS) model enables rapid, low-cost deployment to customers with secure access from any device or browser and one-click export to Microsoft Office.  The software has been designed and developed on an industry standard Microsoft platform using Microsoft’s Windows, SQL and SharePoint Server products providing for built-in security, scalability and collaboration.  For robust data access and rich data visualizations, the solution exploits the Visualizer toolset from Microsoft partner, NSE Inc.  Visualizers access EDI 852 data and other retail data sources and render role-based information views onto SharePoint-based dashboards.

Cloud infrastructure and support services…

The solution has been updated to a managed solution and hosted by Microsoft’s Azure (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/TrustCenter/Security/AzureSecurity) datacenters.  For customer deployments, eSENSE Retail uses a standard on-boarding checklist including all activities required to customize and brand dashboards, setup user roles, assign security rights, collect and load historical data, update weekly data loads, as well as provide user training and deployment support.
